Mevo

We put Mevo in the driver’s seat - literally

Every Kiwi business owner understands the challenges. You build something from nothing, push through late nights, manage financial pressures, and deal with endless admin. When real support is needed, big banks claim they’re there… until it comes time to deliver. Then it’s all paperwork, delays, and unnecessary hurdles.

At Emerge, we don’t just say we back businesses - we actually do.

‘Hero the Customer’ is a campaign dedicated to shining a spotlight on the businesses driving New Zealand forward. Every month, we pick one of our customers, throw our full weight behind them, and put their name in lights (literally). We take out billboards in their name, showcase their brand, and help them get the visibility they deserve. Because businesses need more opportunities to grow, and we’re here to make that happen.

This month, Mevo takes centre stage.

If you haven’t heard of them yet, where’ve you been? They’re revolutionising transport in New Zealand - smart, sustainable, and seamless car-sharing at scale. Mevo isn’t just a promising startup; they’re a growing force in the transport industry, making major strides in how Kiwis get from A to B without the hassle of car ownership.

We didn’t stop at billboards. We jumped in the car with one of Mevo’s Co-founders, Erik Zydervelt, and hit the road, carpool karaoke style. We talked about how they’re shaking up the industry, what 2025 looks like for them, and how Emerge helps power their business. Turns out, when you strip away the red tape and just give businesses the tools they need, they move fast. Really fast.

'Hero the Customer' is about backing the businesses that keep Kiwis moving. Mevo is a perfect example - putting in the mahi, finding new ways to grow, and making a real impact. We’re not here for the red tape, the waiting games, or the corporate runaround. If you’re out there grafting, building something great, and getting stuck in, we see you. We back you. And we’ll keep proving it.

Who’s up next? Stay tuned...
